We use this toy for our almost-five-year-old during our daily commutes. It's wonderful because a) it grabs her attention and delights her during what is usually a very shaky, depressing, hungry time of day, b) it's not like a video game in which you have a catatonic child in your backseat who refuses to talk--it's an interactive learning toy that prompts questions and interesting conversations, and c) it's not obnoxious--no weird beeping, no shooting noises, no electronic "music." It's filled with great music that's real. (The most obnoxious it gets is when she repeatedly clicks on an interesting phrase. Last week we heard "It was spectacular!" five times, before she informed us what she believes "spectacular" means.)

My 9 month old son had been pulling up and cruising along the couch for some time & we thought he'd be thrilled with a toy he could push and walk with. When this cart arrived, I could barely get it together fast enough, he was so excited with it visually! The crocodiles are adorable, they don't clack loudly at all. The cart is designed so it won't tip backwards very easily, so my son can pull up on it to walk. He gets just the right speed for his age on our carpet, not too fast. Very bright and such a nice alternative to the plastic junk you see. Something you'd want to hold onto for awhile. And the price is great at $26. here on amazon.

My daughter just got this for her first birthday and she loves it! Everything you touch on this table makes a noise - we especially love the trombone and the banjo. As you flip the pages to the "book" in the middle of the table, the songs and the sounds change. There are lots of movable parts for the kids to play with - the slide on the trombone moves, there is a slide on the violin, the banjo has a lever to pull, there is a barrel to roll, pages of the book to turn, shapes to press, and a compartment to open. It is very colorful and very sturdy, too. I would DEFINTELY reccomend this toy!

When I first saw this item honestly I laughed however a week later I ended up purchasing it. As a mother of four very young children I have a tendency of putting children in time out but getting distracted by life. As a result two things happen: One my toddler will sneak out and I don't realize it till much later or Two they end up in time way too long. This pad solved both problems, it alerts me if my toddler tries to escape and it sings a fun song when time out is over so that I can talk with my children.

The Time Out Pad is a pressure sensitive pad with a built in timer that helps parents monitor time outs. This simply works by adjusting the timer for one to five minutes and by pressing the start button. Its countdown will start when the child sits on the Time Out Pad and if the child stands up before the countdown has ended, an alarm sounds until they sit back down.

This features red, yellow, and green lights that provide a visual countdown signaling the last 30 seconds of the time out. The Time Out Pad comes with a positive parenting guide including 5 steps to successful time outs. It requires two AA batteries which are not included.
